Five personnel of the Pakistani army, including a Special Services Group (SSG) major, were killed and four others, including a captain, were injured in an ambush by armed men in the Zhob area of Balochistan.

The attack took place on Pakistani army personnel, resulting in the deaths of Major Ali Raza and Havaldar Rahu Nisar, while Captain Nauman, Sepoy Yasir, and Sepoy Imran were among those injured.

The condition of Captain Nauman and Sepoy Yasir is reported to be critical.

However, no group has yet claimed responsibility for the latest attack
