"The nation mourns the loss of acclaimed Balochi language poet Mubarak Qazi, whose passing has left a deep void. Known for his inspiring and uplifting verses, Qazi captured the sentiments and emotions of the Baloch people through his profound poetry. The Balochistan National Movement (BNM) sends heartfelt condolences and pays tribute to his invaluable contributions to language and literature." These views were expressed by a spokesperson for the BNM in a statement issued on the demise of Mubarak Qazi.

The spokesperson highlighted Qazi's profound impact on the nation, stating that his poetry was a guiding light, cutting through fearlessly through social and political issues. Despite facing persecution and imprisonment for his poetic expressions, he remained steadfast in his ideals, demonstrating immense courage.

The spokesperson emphasized that Qazi's choice to embrace a modest life and stay connected to his roots reflected his commitment to his people. He was a revolutionary figure in society who prioritized the expression of public sentiments over mere literary devices, elevating the public language of poetry. Throughout his life, Qazi's poetry and revolutionary spirit brought fame to Balochistan, uniting individuals of all ages in mourning his loss today.

Reflecting on Qazi's legacy, the BNM spokesperson expressed gratitude for his enduring influence, stating, "Although an era has come to a close, Mubarak Qazi's persona, art, ideas, and expressions will continue to guide future generations."

The spokesperson also mentioned the tragic loss of Qazi's son, Kambar Qazi, who shared his father's nationalist ideals and actively participated in the armed struggle for Baloch independence. Kambar Qazi became a martyr at the hands of enemy agents, a devastating blow for Mubarak Qazi. However, he embraced his son's sacrifice for the national freedom movement, proudly honoring his martyrdom.
