Martyr Banuk Karima Baloch has the honor of being the first political leader in the history of the Baloch nation to be the first Baloch student’s organization (BSO Azad) chairperson for a specified period.
Martyr Banuk Karima Baloch was born on 10th February 1986 in United Arab Emirates (UAE). Her parents Mehrab khan and Bibi Jamila moved from their native city Tump to Dubai before the Baloch struggle movement. But the beauty and love of her motherland forced her to come back to Balochistan, and that’s why she traveled to Balochistan. She completed her early education at Tump Girls High School, intermediate and (FSC) completed from Tump inter college. After she enrolled in Atta Shad Degree College Turbat and completed her graduation. At this time Baloch national movement and Baloch armed struggle were its rise time state was venting its anger at Baloch Students Organization (BSO Azad) members as well. In the organization, she was in a key position and because of that Banuk Karima Baloch's education was disrupted. What could be more oppressive on a nation? When basic human needs are impossible to reach on it. Banuk Karima was familiar with all codes of politics whether it's important political criticism or political processes she was well known about it. There was no political-administrative or any political element that she was not aware of it. She was Banuk Karima in which we could see these abilities. Because of these political abilities, she achieved a position in Baloch politics that is extremely difficult to grasp. She was fully aware of her abilities and that’s why she chose politics for herself and in 2006 she joined the Baloch Students Organization (BSO Azad) from here she started her political journey and in the same year, she became the Central Committee member. After being the central committee member she has changed the politics in the way. It was her dynamic approach that made society think of freedom movements of revolutionary politics not limited to the males. In this journey, females can play a crucial role.

After became the Junior vice-chairperson Banuk Karima Baloch's abilities began to fade further. Because of her these abilities in the 2012 council session in Awaran and she became the senior vice chairperson of BSO Azad. Banuk Karima Burdens became more on her shoulders when in 2014 Organizations Chairman Zahid Baloch forcibly disappeared by Pakistani security forces and (ISI) from Quetta Balochistan. Because Banuk Karima Baloch was vice-chairperson, all responsibilities of Zahid Baloch turned to Karimas shoulder. We saw that Banuk Karima in those difficult conditions and times her encouragements like the Himalayas and engage with organizations process day and night. Although those days the situation in Balochistan is extremely worst. Where student organization raises voice against Baloch national rights state oppression occupied state banned on the organization and workers could not continue their activities and soon later Baloch nationalists including women have bigger number disappeared by security forces and distorted bodies of Baloch were being found from desert and mountains every day. In those circumstances, not only the organization but the whole nation encouraged. She has been committed to the entity, courageous for the better tomorrow of Balochistan freedom. She was the entity to become the goddess for the nation, she is could be the mom. After serving as established chairperson for three years in critical situations Banuk Karima became the chairperson of the organization in the 2015 council session.
In the turbulent period where the occupying state was forcibly disappearing and then throwing Baloch Nation mutilated bodies into the desolation areas. Even in this harsh situation, Banuk Karima continued her political activities on the ground. Meanwhile, Pakistani state agencies raided Banu Karima's home and her relatives several times. Several cases registered against her. Several times occupying forces have fired mortars in her house in Tump. Even after this, all Banuk Karima Baloch's courageous are like Koh-e-Chiltan for Baloch because she kept conveying the message of the organization for the pursuit of Baloch national interests in every Gidan of Balochistan. When the situation got worsened, then organization friends decide that Banuk Karima would now have to go abroad and work there. Because the state was trying its best to get Banuk Karima out of the way. Therefore, in such conditions, the Baloch nation cannot afford such a loss. So, going abroad Banuk Karima will be safe. 2nd she could be the voice of the Baloch National Movement and because of these reasons Banuk Karima moved to Canada and where she was granted political asylum. Meanwhile in Canada Banuk Karima played her role in appeasing the issue, not at the national level but also in United Nations (UN) besides she made contacts with civil society and other oppressed nations to send the message of Balochistan and Baloch Missing person issues. In 2016 Banuk Karima nominated in BBC as has kept their name in 100 world powerful women’s name list. Because of her political struggle after her martyrdom, every convicted and oppressed nation has done a complete strike. worlds every oppressed nation are grief and they better know that Karima was not only talking for the Baloch nation she highlighted every oppressed nation to the worldwide and a hope.
Banuk Karima Baloch's first-time duration student politics has reached its end. But what to do? Along with the state, outdated mindset and semi-political elements were scared of Banuk Karima's political work and they come up with all sorts of dirty tactics. Despite all those circumstances she was the “hope of Morning” for Baloch Nation and she never felt look back because she knew if I got involved with them the practical work will be affected which must have damaged the national cause. Karima Baloch gave priority to the goal and continued towards the destination and continued the same path till her martyrdom. In this regard, Chairman Khalil Baloch said Martyr Karima Baloch's contribution to Baloch Movement and the Baloch nation obvious to the world Karima's struggle was the purpose of her life.

It was all because her family has educated her at a young age and she became associated with the Baloch movement. When we review the journey of Banuk Karima Baloch she has been a great leader rising public awareness not only in bigger cities also in the educational institutions as well in remote areas of Balochistan she used to try to wake up the Baloch nation from the slumber. After that when the occupier narrowed the ground on them and she went abroad. There too she also played a dynamic role that she was doing in Homeland. Because of her great role people call her the name Goddess.
The Baloch nation bestowed the title of "Luma" on her name goddess because of her personality and deeds. For how long she was in Balochistan she always presents among the public and gave public awareness of the Baloch cause. Inside Balochistan, she tried to reach out to different areas of Balochistan including cities, villages, and mountains to mobilize the peoples. In Baloch society and globally Banuk Karima Baloch because of her great personality has proved on 20th December 2020 occupying state Pakistani secret agencies in Canada Toronto city more emerged after her martyrdom. An unending series of demonstrations and social media programs began globally and regionally. In every city of Balochistan including Karachi, Quetta, and Turbat crowds came out on roads and the same voice kept echoing in every direction that “How Many Karima Would you kill every home will become Karima Baloch” or the slogan that was in every child and young saying I am Karima, you’re Karima, we are all Karima. The reaction that was seen regionally and globally is proof that Karima was the real daughter of Balochistan. Today daughter of Balochistan has become an incredible symbol of resistance.
Today Banuk Karima has been physically separated among us. Her martyrdom is a great tragedy for the whole nation which cannot be fulfilled even in centuries. But the thinking she has given to the nation it’s our responsibility strives to continue to struggle. She used to express like this, we all must struggle together to sustain political institutions, and the day we fully achieved this political institution goal and it won’t take long before the sun of freedom rises. This political style and the way politics are an ideal way to will fulfill the dreams of our Goddess Banuk Karima Baloch and this is also an ideal way to tribute to her.
