The spokesman of the Baloch National Movement has said in his statement that since last week, the offensive of the Pakistani army had been going on in the Kohlu district of Balochistan. The Pakistani army had been carrying out aerial and ground attacks on unknown targets, which resulted in several casualties.
He said that due to the lack of access to the area, the exact situation cannot be exactly ascertained, but local media had confirmed that on November 26, a village was set on fire in the “Siya Kuh” area of Kohlu. Many residents, including children and women, had forcibly disappeared after being arrested during the military crackdown.
“Media and PR wing of Pakistan Army the Inter-Services Public Relations has claimed to have killed nine people while detaining three others whose identities have not been revealed.”
The spokesperson said that dozens of families had been displaced in uncertain conditions on their places by burning their houses in bitter-cold weather; that violation of human rights. “Human rights organisations should pay attention to human rights violations in Balochistan.”
He said that the majority of the population of Balochistan lives in the rural areas where the Pakistani army had forced people to migrate internally and abroad through continuous brutal military operations. Apart from this millions of people have suffered from the worst economic and social crisis. Similarly, they had been suffering from psychological issues, those need immediate humanitarian help.
