Pashtuns and Baloch are facing a hostile attitude in line with the military's directives - Manzoor Pashteen Manzoor Pashteen, the leader of the Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement, has expressed his reaction to the arrest of PTM leaders and advocate Iman Mazari by law enforcement official, saying, "Last night, Islamabad Police arrested PTM leaders and former MNA Ali Wazir, human rights activist and knowledgeable advocate Iman Mazari, PTM Islamabad Coordinator Kamran Khan, and his associates Wasim Pashteen and Noor Zada Muhsud along with his three sons. Similarly, Shah Faisal Ghazi, Jamal Maliyar, and Fida Mahsud, PTM associates, were arrested and forcefully taken out of Dera Ismail Khan, and even now a strict government crackdown is ongoing against PTM workers." He said that it is known to us that such behavior towards Pashtuns and Baloch is being pursued under the military's generals directives, and aggressive and provocative statements are being spread from their prison cells instead of subjecting them to the law and presenting them in courts. An unlawful and inhumane approach is being adopted against them. He stated that PTM associates are being punished for loving their homeland and seeking a peaceful life for their people. Manzoor Pashteen added that we have already faced tougher situations and we want to convey to them that we will not step back from our peaceful resistance at any cost. Along with the legal battle for the release of our workers, we will soon announce a comprehensive plan of resistance.
