On August 31, 2018, Asif and Rasheed were arrested by the forces and taken into custody by the troops along with their other eight friends from the Zangi Nawaar Picnic site in Noshki and transferred to an unknown location where later, publishing the pictures of these persons in the custody of Pakistan’s security forces.
According to Saira Baloch, the sister of abducted Asif and Rasheed, she had a press conference at Islamabad National Press Club. She added I came to Islamabad from Khuzdar to convey my voice to the institutions in Balochistan that are not listening to me. Furthermore, she said I don't know national or international law; I only know the rule that a sister feels safe with her brothers. But the state has taken away this feeling from me.
Today, thousands of sisters are waiting for their brothers similarly. She has taken a stand to demand answers from the Pakistan Army and seek the recovery of her missing brothers, Rasheed and Asif Baloch, along with other missing persons. Saira Baloch, along with other families of Missing Persons, had a walk-march rally demanding the safe release of their loved ones. Several families participated in the rally, holding pictures and banners regarding their loved ones.
National Democratic Movement Chairman Mohsin Dawar, Pakhtunkhwa Provincial Chairperson Bushra Gohar, Central Organizing Committee Member Tariq Wazir, and Central Leader Ismail Mehsud participated in the protest camp of relatives of forcibly disappeared Baloch people in front of Islamabad Press Club and expressed solidarity with them.
