Spokesperson clarified that Feroz Baloch son of Noor Bakhsh Barani is a student in the education department at Rawalpindi Agricultural University. He left Rome around 4 pm on May 11, saying he was going to the university library and forcibly disappeared on the way which they condemned strongly. Such profiling and subsequently enforced disappearances of unarmed Baloch students is a continuation of the state's policy of depriving Baloch students of education as usual, on the one hand, government agencies make false promises to provide scholarships in Balochistan, on the other hand, every day Baloch students are deprived of education. The country's educational institutions are harassed on racial grounds, followed by enforced disappearances.
For the last few years, a deliberate plan has been to target Baloch students, where the enforced disappearances of Baloch students are increasing day by day. Baloch students are fed up with the state's policy of disappearing one after another. This inhumane treatment has left Baloch students in a very difficult situation where they have no choice but to give up their academic activities.
At the end of his statement, the spokesperson urged the concerned agencies to take this serious issue seriously otherwise they would legally decide their next course of action which would be very strict.
All the missing Baloch students including Feroz Baloch should be released and their families and friends should be saved from mental anguish.
