Karachi, Family of Dad Shah Baloch held hunger strike camp in front of Karachi Press Club, Long march to Sindh Assembly and protest

Family members of Dad Shah Baloch held a symbolic hunger strike camp in front of Karachi Press Club today, who forcibly disappeared on 10th August, 2023, 

Dad Shah Shashani is a resident of Greshag Khuzdar and was forcibly abducted on 11 August 2023 in front of his family in Hawksbay, Karachi, by CTD( Counter Terrorism Department). As of now, his whereabouts remain unknown. Dad Shah Shashani is a student by profession and a social activist.

According to Fozia Baloch Shashani, in the middle of the night, CTD forces entered their home and took her brother with them. Subsequently, she visited the police station to file an FIR against the enforced disappearance of her brother at the hands of the CTD forces. However, the police refused to file the FIR.

Furthermore, Dadshah Baloch's family members along with other protesters marched from Karachi Press Club to Sindh Assembly on. A large number of men, women and children participated in the march. The participants of the rally staged a sit-in in front of the Sindh Assembly. The protesters also raised slogans against the Sindh Police and demanded the release of the missing Dad Shah Baloch and other victims of enforced disappearances.
