Bolan: Baloch Liberation Army spokesman Azad Baloch claimed responsibility for the attack on the train from Quetta to Punjab and Peshawar, in Mashkaf area of Bolan .
Today on January 20, at 12:30 p.m., the freedom fighters of BLA targeted the Jaffar Express moving from Quetta to Punjab and Peshawar with a remote control bomb near Paneer station in Mashkaf area of Bolan, as a result of which 8 bogies of the train including the engine were derailed.
On intelligence-based information, the freedom fighters targeted the third bogie of the train when several Frontier Corps (FC) and Pakistani Army personnel were travelling with the first five bogies of the train.
As a result of the attack, 10 personnel were killed and more than 25 personnel were injured, to pick them up immediately after the attack, the Pakistani army conducted a rescue operation using helicopters.
"Our such attacks will continue till the independence of occupied Balochistan", Azad Baloch said.
