Central Secretary-General of the Baloch National Movement Dr. Murad Baloch said in his statement on 31st August 2021 that the killing of detainees revealed the ugly face of Pakistan. This is a clear war crime. UN must take immediate steps to recover detainees and prevent fake encounters.

He said that since last year, the Pakistan army had started killing detainees in the name of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in the name of fake encounters. It continues to intensify, More than 30 people have been killed in just a few days. The Pakistani military used to kill detainees and dump their mutilated bodies, but that had always refused to take responsibility. The name Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) is now being used for the killings. But it cannot throw dust in the eyes of the Baloch nation and the world. Pakistan could not erase the ugly stain from its face.

Dr. Murad Baloch said that the people who are being killed by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in the name of fake encounters, who all have been imprisoned for years. There is evidence of them. Like other human rights abuses, it is a serious one. Human rights organizations need to take action on this

BNM Secretary-General Dr. Murad Baloch said that seeing us being killed in the world's silence is no less than a human tragedy. We are one nation. We would not be ended with the barbarism of Pakistan but Pakistan is accountable.
