Gwadar: BLF claims Responsibility for the Killing of 14 Army Personnel in an Attack on the Coastal Highway. Major Gwahram Baloch, the spokesperson for the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), released a statement acknowledging that a group of Sarmachaars ambushed the Pakistani army in Baduk, Pasni Tehsil of Gwadar District, on the coastal highway on Friday, November 3, 2023, at approximately 2:00 PM. The attack targeted a convoy comprising two vehicles. According to the spokesperson, the Sarmachaars launched rocket attacks on the enemy vehicles at close range and engaged them with modern weaponry, resulting in the complete destruction of both military vehicles. As a consequence of the attack, 14 Pakistani soldiers in the vehicles were died. The enemy vehicles caught fire due to the rocket shells and incendiary bullets. Prior to the outbreak of the fire, BLF fighters managed to secure some of the weapons belonging to the Pakistani soldiers. The spokesperson emphasized that they are confident that sooner or later, the occupying Pakistani forces will be compelled to withdraw in the face of Baloch national determination and the struggle for national independence. The BLF's operations will persist until achieving an independent Balochistan. Furthermore, the spokesperson reiterated the historical context, emphasizing that Balochistan was not part of the partition plan in 1947 and was, in fact, an independent nation. It was forcibly annexed by Pakistan in March 1948. The Baloch nation has been engaged in a protracted movement for freedom against this colonial oppression ever since. The spokesperson called upon the international community, neighboring countries, and nations to support the Baloch nation in their quest for independence.
